Some owners like to have their poodle’s hair shorn and grown out on their feet and face. Choose a style that you like and can spend time caring for and maintaining. You might choose to have a professional pet groomer style and keep up your poodle’s hair if you choose a more complicated grooming style.
If your poodle is a family dog I will be getting dirtier than a typical indoor poodle will. You may choose to keep their hair at one length or shorn except for a few places. Because you’ll need to bathe your dog more, be sure to use a gentle conditioning shampoo and brush and blow dry its hair gently. Using the proper tools will also be helpful.
